George McCranor
George McCranor, is a Nottingham based singer / songwriter, who has recently formed a working partnership with his younger brother Richard. The pair first met in April 1979 when Richard was born and, although they hit it off straight away, it did take the a while to get their guitars together. George & Richard - 'The Like' - as they are now known, have recorded a few of George's songs and have performed them live at 'The Spotlight' - nsi singer songwriter open mic nights. George performed his 1st major solo gig at the nsi showcase concert on weds 9th August 2000.

Ellen McGee
Ellen played her first nsi showcase concert on weds 1st December 1999.

Morag
Morag grew up playing and singing Scottish folk music. After first playing saxophone with the Edinburgh Youth Orchestra aged 12, Morag continued playing big band jazz for the next 10 years, before completing a pop music performance course at Clarendon College and briefly playing lead guitar in a rock band called Lambs to the Slaughter. Morag whose influences include Bonnie Raitt, Ani di Franco, & Meredith Brooks started playing guitar in 1992 & began writing songs in 1998. She currently performs every so often at Carlton Folk Club and Hidden Talents women's cabaret night. Morag has contributed one of her songs to NSI's forthcoming Robin Hood Compilation CD.
