DEMOS:- We strongly recommend that those interested in performing at a nsi event should attend the next such nsi event in order to experience the format and nature of the event from an audience perspective (and bring their demos with them). Although we would prefer demos to be sent in audio CD format, bands/groups/ensembles/duos and solo performers are advised not to go to any unnecessary expense to provide demos bearing in mind it is the quality of the songs and the performance (not the quality of the recording) that will determine their eligibility to perform at a nsi singer / songwriter showcase concert and /or ensemble gig e.g. demos of suitable material (appropriate to the aims of nsi) recorded in a kitchen on a portable cassette player will be considered on condition that all the vocals and instruments are clearly audible on playback. n.b. songs submitted for inclusion on the nsi compilation CD must be sent in digital format preferably CD.Demos - Eligibility - Showcase Guidelines - Showcase running order etc.. ![]() ELIGIBILITY:- solo performance can include instruments of any kind including percussion and keyboards.
